Study Ages: We are currently recruiting children from 4 to 6 years of age.
Study Info: In this study we are exploring the development of attention and memory. Your child will participate in two online games, and you will complete an interactive questionnaire with your child1. Participants will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card2.
Task Info: This task was created using Gorilla Software3, an online behavioral research platform that runs in any web browser (tablet or computer) and ensures the security of all task and personal information. The attention and the memory games each take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, the questionnaire (children aged 4-7) takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete
What Happens Next: When you click to continue below, you will be asked to acknowledge that you understand the requirements of the task. Then you will be taken to our online task website where you will be asked for a “participant ID”. This is simply a unique user ID assigned to your child that will allow you to leave a task, then log back in right where you left off. Please use a valid email address for your child’s participant ID as we will be using that to email you your Amazon.com gift card after completing all three tasks. Note, if you have multiple eligible children, you must use a unique email address for each child. Once you have logged in you will be asked for your child’s birthdate to confirm eligibility, and will then be taken to an online consent form where you can read all about the tasks and decide if you want to continue. Once you sign the consent form, you will be taken immediately to the first task.
