Thank you: Bailey

Bailey has been a part of our lab for a year now. Sadly Bailey will be leaving the lab at the end of the spring semester. Before she leaves we asked her to reflect on her time in the lab.

Question: What are your plans for the upcoming year and beyond?

Bailey: Next year I will work towards a certification as a pathologists’ assistant. I am so excited to learn about the things that I love, recieve hands-on experience and be able to help my community while meeting new people along the way!

Question: What was your favorite thing about being a part of the lab?

Bailey: My favorite part about working in lab was educating others about how learning & memory develops in both infants and adults. I also loved it when other undergraduate students became interested in pursuing working in a lab or majoring in psychology/neuroscience.

Question: How has the lab impacted your college experience?

Bailey: The lab has been a huge part of my Junior and Senior year. I loved learning about cognitive development and how wonderfully important it is to always ask questions and explore new ideas. I am so thankful that I not only got to gain the experience of working in a lab, but I am also grateful for the friendships that I have built. I am so excited to continue pursuing my dream career, but I will always remember and look back upon my lab days fondly.

Thank you for time in the lab! We know that your future is bright!
